Travel Agent Interview Questions:

The best applicants for the profession of travel agent combine a love of travel with a talent for selling and providing excellent client service. These people are communicative, detail-oriented and resourceful. They genuinely want to assist others and try hard to establish long-term relationships with clients.

You should focus on customer service and sales questions if you’re searching for an entry-level applicant to train. At a fundamental level, you’ll want applicants who are outgoing and capable of negotiating and problem-solving.   • You’re having a conversation with an angry unsatisfied customer.. How do you make them feel better?
  • What are the types of questions you would ask to a walk-in client?
  • What would you do if the travel bundle you recommended was out of budget for your customer?
  • Describe an occasion when you wowed a client. What did you do, and what did you take away from this experience?
  • Explain to us in detail the different steps you would take to plan and organize a complicated itinerary.
