This position requires strong interpersonal skills as well as a high level of tact, diplomacy, and objectivity. Additionally, your HR Manager must be able to form excellent working connections with upper management, employees, vendors, and other external resources. They’ll be called upon for other things as well such as conflict resolution. Furthermore, whether your HR Manager is a mid-level employee or is in charge of the entire department, they will be responsible for staffing and training their team.

  • According to you, what is the meaning of “company culture”? What would you do to keep it this way?
  • What are some of the HR technology tools that you utilize? Give us some recommendations of one system per function- for applicant tracking, payroll, onboarding and referrals?
  • What are some of the benefits/perks which lead to the highest levels of employee satisfaction and engagement?
  • How do you stay up to date and ensure that national labor rules, such as taxes, industrial laws, social security, health insurance are followed? Have you ever made a mistake that cost you a lot of money? Has this resulted in any regulatory issues? How did you deal with it?
  • What has proven to be the most effective method for resolving conflicts in your experience, whether it is between employees or upper level management teams?
