Less experienced candidates might have theoretical familiarity with industry terminology due to their marketing education. Use situational questions to determine whether they can practically apply their knowledge in a real work setting. For candidates with prior professional experience, prioritize behavioral questions that uncover how they have tackled challenges, collaborated with teams, and managed various tasks in their previous roles.

Role-specific questions:

  • How do you believe individuals come to discover our brand?
  • What exposure have you had to paid advertising methods, such as PPC or sponsored content campaigns?
  • What steps do you follow when conducting an analysis of our competitors?

Behavioral questions:
