Email Body:

Dear [Name of Hiring Manager],

I hope this email finds you well.

I’m writing this email to keep you informed on the [Job title] position’s progress.

  • Phone Screening calls: [e.g. 5] conducted.
  • Candidates who got advanced to the assignment stage: [e.g. 4]
  • Phone Screening calls scheduled for next week: [e.g. 3]  
  • Assignment submission due date: [e.g. 28/09/2022]

The list of qualified candidates is as follows:

  • [Candidate1 name]: Although she/he/they lack related experience, she/he/they have done extensive research regarding our company and appear to be very interested in the position. We had a great interview, and I’d like to see how the assignment turns out.
  • [Candidate2 name]: Has two years of work experience in a similar position and is well-versed in the field. Our conversation had a formal feel but the interview went great.
