# Interview Scheduling Conflicts ## Common Issues ### No Available Slots When candidates see no available time slots on their booking page: - **Check availability settings** — ensure your availability windows are configured in Settings → Availability. - **Calendar conflicts** — HireBee checks your connected calendar for existing events and blocks those times. - **Buffer time** — there may be buffer time before/after interviews reducing available slots. - **Time zone mismatch** — verify that your availability times and the candidate's time zone are correct. ### Double-Booked Interviews If two interviews are scheduled at the same time: - This can happen if you schedule manually without checking your calendar. - Use the self-scheduling feature — it automatically prevents conflicts. - Connect your calendar integration for real-time availability checking. ### Calendar Not Syncing If interview events don't appear in your connected calendar: 1. Check **Settings → Integrations** for calendar connection status. 2. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar. 3. Verify you have write permissions on the calendar. 4. Check for sync errors in the integration settings. ## Self-Scheduling Issues ### Booking Link Not Working - Ensure the booking link hasn't expired. - Check that the job is still published. - Verify that availability windows are set for future dates. ### Candidate Can't See Times - They may be in a different time zone — times are shown in the candidate's local time. - All slots for the configured period may already be booked. - Check if you have minimum notice requirements (e.g., 24 hours in advance). ## Rescheduling - Click **Reschedule** on any scheduled interview. - Select a new date/time. - All parties (candidate and interviewers) are notified automatically. - The original event is cancelled and a new one is created.
