# Understanding Your Dashboard
Your Hirebee dashboard is your command center for all HR activities.
## Dashboard Widgets
### Quick Stats
- Total employees and new hires this month
- Pending leave requests
- Upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries
- Open positions
### Activity Feed
Real-time updates on recent HR activities across your organization.
### Alerts & Notifications
- Expiring documents or certifications
- Overdue tasks
- Policy compliance reminders
## Customizing Your Dashboard
1. Click the **Customize** icon in the top-right corner
2. Drag and drop widgets to rearrange
3. Toggle widgets on/off based on your role
4. Save your layout
## Role-Based Views
Different roles see different dashboards:
- **HR Manager**: Full overview with all metrics
- **Department Manager**: Team-specific data
- **Employee**: Personal info, leave balance, tasks
## Tips
- Check your dashboard daily for pending approvals
- Use the search bar to quickly find employees or documents
- Pin frequently accessed sections for quick navigation
