# Zoom Video Interviews ## Overview Connect Zoom to automatically create video meetings for interviews. No more manually creating links and copying them around. ## Setup 1. Go to **Settings → Integrations → Zoom**. 2. Click **Connect Zoom**. 3. Authorize HireBee with your Zoom account. 4. Choose default meeting settings (waiting room, recording, etc.). ## How It Works When you schedule an interview and select "Video Call" as the type: 1. HireBee automatically creates a Zoom meeting. 2. The meeting link is added to the interview event. 3. Calendar invites include the Zoom link. 4. Candidates receive the link in their interview notification email. ## Meeting Recordings If recording is enabled on your Zoom account: - Recordings are automatically captured after meetings end. - HireBee can fetch and store recording links. - **AI Transcript Summarization** — if enabled, HireBee uses AI to summarize meeting transcripts, extracting key discussion points and candidate insights. ## Cleanup Zoom recordings can be automatically cleaned up after a configurable retention period to save storage. ## Disconnecting 1. Go to **Settings → Integrations → Zoom**. 2. Click **Disconnect Zoom**. 3. Existing meetings are preserved but new ones won't be auto-created. ## Tips - Ensure your Zoom account has meeting creation permissions. - For panel interviews, all interviewers are added as meeting participants. - The Zoom link is also displayed on the candidate's self-scheduling page.
