Subject Line: Your application to (company name) for the (job title) position

Dear (Candidate Name),

We appreciate you taking the time to apply to (Company name). 

Unfortunately, we are writing to inform you that you have not been selected to move forward with the (job position) application at our company.

However, our team was very impressed with your experiences and skills, specifically in regards to (include 1-2 skills that you were impressed with, e.g. your performance in the interview assignment, your in-person communication, experience in X tool), but we are looking for an individual who has (more experience in Y, exhibits leadership skills, can take full responsibility of our sales goals, has native-level speaking abilities in English).

We believe that you may be more suitable for a different position in our company and therefore, encourage you to keep an eye out for any future job postings that may interest you.
